Valentine's Day Craftiness

I decided to get crafty and made shirts for the kids for their Valentine's Day parties at school today. I tried to get a cute pic of the kids together this morning but they weren't cooperative so the two pics below are the best I got to show the shirts!!

Bryan loves to sit in a chair and "read" books- especially books that have Elmo & Grover!

(Yes, he has learned how to climb up in the big chairs and on the couch!)

The kids just love playing together, which makes me so happy!

Museums

With all this cold and wet winter weather I've been trying to find indoor activities for the kids on the weekends (especially the weekends when Patrick works!). We've really put our Ft. Worth Museum membership to good use, the kids love going there and always find something new to explore. For a change of pace we decided to hit up the Dallas Museum of Nature and Science this weekend- like the Ft. Worth Museum they also have a Children's Museum section. The kids had a lot of fun and burned off a lot of energy exploring all the exhibits!!

Tee Tee in the potty

So Bryan has become obsessed with sitting on the potty. We put him on the big potty at night before his bath and he has started to follow Emma in the bathroom during the day and then wants up on the potty after her. I decided to pull Emma's little potty out the other day and he sat for a few minutes and he actually went "tee tee"!! I was so excited- I think I scared him!! Patrick was home with the kids the next day and didn't really bother with the potty, but when I got home from work he followed me into the bathroom and said "tee-tee" so I sat him on the little potty and he went again!! And this morning when I was getting the kids ready for pre-school Emma sat on the big potty and Bryan on the little potty and he went again!! I've tried to show him how to push his ***** down so it doesn't spray everywhere....and he gets pee on his fingers and says "utttt oh"- so CUTE!! I don't know if Patrick and I are ready for the potty training business but think Bryan just might be!

First day of school....

Bryan had his first day of "school" (aka mother's day out) today. I was a little worried because I had to work in the office today and wouldn't get to take him, but my mom said he did great and the teachers said he never cried- not even when they laid him down for a nap!! SO happy that he enjoyed it as much as I thought he would. Emma had her first day back to school since the Xmas Break...her class is just down the hall from Bryan's and she got to walk by his classroom and say "HI" on her way to gym. It is so cute how excited Emma is that Bryan is at school with her.
