Baby Shower

My office threw a baby shower for Bryan yesterday afternoon.  It was really nice, lots of good food and fun visiting with work friends I haven't seen in a while.  One of the attorneys I work with made the cake, check out the pics, it was so CUTE!!! We got lots of fun stuff, including a new high chair and a gift certificate to the place we buy Bryan's cloth diapers (www.cottonbabies.com).  

  

Bryan 2 Months

Bryan had his two month well baby check up today.  He currently weighs in at 13 lbs. 1 ounce and is 25 inches long (his height puts him over the 95% - we are guessing he will be tall just like Dad, Mom and Big Sis).  He got his first round of immunizations and has been a little grumpy this afternoon, but fortunately no fever.  His hernia has cleared up so hopefully we will be much healthier than we have been for the past two months (jaundice, hernia, clavicle fracture, RSV).   Next well baby check up is in two months, cannot wait to see how much he grows between now and then!!

First Blog

Several people have bugged us about putting one of these together... so finally here it is.  Well we just got the 2 year old (Emma) to bed after a evening of her not understanding why Mom cannot hold her all the time, especially when Mom is nursing baby brother (Bryan).  Bryan is dealing with his second major cold (he is only two months old) but fortunately this one doesn't require hospitalization, just lots of saline and bulb syringing and sleeping in a swing in Mom and Dad's room.  Hopefully this won't through off his sleeping schedule as he was doing so good putting himself to sleep every night between 7:30-8p.m.  We are slowly learning what it takes to be parents of two kids and it is a steep learning curve, but we are loving every minute of it!!
