Weekend full of showers...

Not rain showers, although that would have been nice! First I had a "Sip and See" for Bryan and the other two babies born this year to members of the Junior League of Arlington 08-09 provisional class...then Haley, Chelsey and I hosted Lindsy's first bridal shower at my house. It was great to see some of Lindsy's good friends from high school and college...cannot wait to see everyone again at the wedding in November!!

Emma was the present girl, she carried the presents across the room to Lindsy to open up.

Again, forgot to get the camera out until late, so the picture of the table was after everyone had already eaten, but I wanted to capture the fresh bouquets I put together.

Emma's First Day of School....

OK I know she is just three, and I know she went to pre-school last year too, but she was so excited to start pre-school again!!! She had a great first day and hopefully it will be a wonderful year filled with lots of learning and fun!!

Elephants

We met up with our good friends the Daley's last night in Sundance Square to watch the elephants from the Ringling Brothers Circus. They parade the elephants down the street and then set up a buffet for the elephants to dine on. It was fun to watch, a little crowded, but we'll know to get there earlier next year and get a spot up front!

Family Photos

The camera is back in business so we decided to head to the Botanic Gardens and see if we could get a pic of the whole family, with a little help from the tripod of course...here are some of my favorites!!

Patrick built a small wooden swing-set in the backyard for the kids...with our small backyard we couldn't do much but Emma kept asking for a swing so we had to oblige.

Camera...

Finally got the camera back but it looks like the auto-focus on the lense we use the most is messed up so it will be going back to the shop this afternoon :( !! But I did get a couple pics of Emma at her little dance recital last night and I also realized I had a cute pic of Emma and her friend Jackson from the first day of VBS on the memory card.

Bryan has learned to pull up in his crib so it has become more difficult to get him down for naps and to bed at night.

Bryan's first experience with a yogurt pop (frozen yo-go)...Emma loves these but we make her eat them in the bath tub because they get kind of messy, and it looks like Bryan will be enjoying these along with her.
